All Parents please make plans to attend the Mandatory Parent/Scout Meeting on Feb. 27th.
Topics to be discussed are: Scout Troop Leadership, Boy Scout process, the Troop calendar, and Scout expectations.

Troop 208 Summer Camp 2012 June 10-16th
This is general information to help you prepare for summer camp; more info will be forthcoming
Troop 208 will be attending summer camp 2012 at Buffalo Trail Scout Ranch.
BTSR is located in the Davis Mountains in West Texas. Spanning 9,320 acres, they have been providing Scout camping adventures for more than 50 years .
There is a very comprehensive merit badge program, as well as many unique activities for the Scouts.
June 10-16 is our reserved camp week.
The base cost is $300 per youth, adults are $200. Additionally, fuel costs will be figured at a future date.
The first payment of $100 (youth)/$75 (adult) is due January 23, 2012; Rhea Phelan will be collecting money to reserve your spot.
Remainder of payments are as follows:
March 12 - $75 youth/ $50 adult
April 30 - $75 youth/ $50 adult
May 21 - $50 youth/$25 adult; plus any fuel costs.
A mandatory parent meeting will be held a few weeks before camp.
Please bring your initial payment to the meeting January 16 or 23 – your scout will not want to miss this exciting camp!
